Pros of the Sigma 50-150 Lens
In this post we shall discuss the advantages of the Sigma 50-150 lens. The lens has several advantages. The main advantage of course is the price which is a fraction of what you would pay for a Canon or a Nikon lens which offers similar features. The lens also offers excellent optical quality. It is very sharp on the center and borders at any aperture and focal lengths. It has good distortion control at 50mm and 100mm, though there is slight pin cushion distortion at 150 mm. It also has good vignetting control above f/2.8 at any focal length. The lens offers superb chromatic aberration control as well. The build quality is superb considering the price you pay for it. It has a very fast, accurate and silent HSM autofocusing mechanism which makes it compatible with even entry level digital SLR cameras. Overall, it can easily be the best telephoto lens for cropped sensor DSLR cameras.
